Trouble with www.sluggy.com vs. sluggy.com

I have been having trouble getting to www.sluggy.com. Firefox simply sits and says "Waiting for www.sluggy.com", for several minutes. This has happened a couple of times this week (and always in the morning -- 7:30/8:00 am Pacific Time). It happened this morning, but this time I tried "sluggy.com" (no leading "www."), and I got in right away. I don't know what's wrong, but obviously something isn't working right.
(This does not seem to affect sluggy.net; I can get into the forums with no trouble. However, trying to access the comic from a link in the forum also fails. Again, the address is "www.sluggy.com/...")
