Story Drop-down box in Chrome, broken

The story drop-down box does not work in Chrome.
I can select a specific chapter, but then the next list it shows is
blank. I recall before seeing things there, but whether something
is there or not, when I try to click anything the box just closes
and I am left on the same page.
This has made looking through old Archives nearly impossible. I instead have to use an old version of IE, which for some reason has to spend a while processing each page it loads from your site.
