sluggy.net menu problems

It appears that the javascript/css/hamsters powering the menus on the page loaded when I type "http://www.sluggy.net/" is not working/not present/have died. Screenshot attached. Using Safari 4.0.2 on a mac.

    I need to update sluggy.net to the new menus/design anyway, but i'm seeing similar issues. not sure yet whats' behind it.
